@You Tube Not really from my personal evaluation. I found Briggs and Stratton has the overall best reliability and consistency performance after 5-7 years of usage. They're Honda made in MEXICO, Honda clones from CHINA and Briggs and Stratton from not sure from CHINA or US. All purchased brand new. Definitely not the strongest or best torque of the bunch. It just starts up and does its chores as it should. But it could be my bad luck and got the lemon 🍋 HONDA of the production. Not to mention my 2 not being used for comparison of a 35 years old and a younger 16 years old Briggs and Stratton 3.5 Classic still startup in one pull. Still doing what it is supposed to do at a very low end budget price.

I have a variety of small engines to use in the field. The Briggs and Stratton engine is the best, especially the ones designed and made in USA. It's not rated as much hp or torque, but consistency reliability, performance, and fastest reliable startup performance are what really amazed me. The Honda clones made in China and the genuine GSX Honda made in MEXICO are questionable, mix bags of performance, for not so satisfying. Definitely not a one pull start from my Honda and Honda clones. The above ranges from 5-7 years of activity performance in the real world on the field performance of my personal evaluation. Maybe the Honda engine I have is the bad production lemon victim or not. I'm not really sure. But I paid the (higher $ )price for the disappointing performance.
