@michaelkatz275 Canada is currently selling oil and gas at 1/2 of the world price. A price even the oil province Alberta can't afford to match. Hydro New Foundland, Hydro Ontario, and Hydro Quebec have been selling electricity across the border less than wholesale rates to Canadians. Cars made in CANADA exports to US are priced more in Canada. That means even when the CAD = USD, you will still 30% more. The town folks where the Canadian manufactured can't get the same price as US. There's no benefits for Canadians. Go do your research. Canada government monopolize the business of alcohol , tobacco, and marijuana substance often fail to meet profits. Those are supposedly to be guaranteed huge profits 📈 businesses.

Don't forget the real 100% privately owned Canadian investors who invested in their privately owned businesses never receive 1 cent of government when their business fails. Most of the GM, FORD, and Chrysler products are as lousy as they get. Over 125 years and still fails to make a decent product. Because it's protected by the godfather of favoritism.
