@supa3ek That's not correct. Despite of opposing the NATO alliances, Russia only wants to overtake Ukraine. Of course once it done with Ukraine, Putin is eyeing on Poland, Moldova or other Baltic states.

@jamiealisson8298 If you study the history of WW2, you'd understand what I'm talking about. Short recap : Soviet took over and occupied Poland. Poland fought hard for democracy and won in 1990s. Putin think it should be part of Russia. And other Baltic states used to be part of Soviet Union, so he wants to reclaim them as well. Don't worry, I believe he won't succeed as long his army stuck by Ukraine for a while.

Ah, you forget UK and allies were attacking Germany and Italy, they had no chance winning especially against US power. So you can't compare this to Ukraine war. If NATO has learn anything from WW, they would help Ukraine to defend against their enemy, Russia would have no chance of winning.

@jamiealisson8298 It's not forgone conclusion. 2024 is just starting, anything happens down the track.

@sebastianolofsson5399 That's typical answer from Putin apologist. 😒

@chatdanslesbottes8212 If you mean USSR help the allies to win the war, the answer is yes. They have pushed back German troops successfully.

@jonconnington8987 Another denial by Putin apologist. 😒 Russia invade Ukraine illegally, it's pure and simple. Putin has zero respect for sovereignty and independence. Have a good one.

@davehaggerty3405 Doesn't US want Putin out of power? It sounds like US wants Russia out of Ukraine but not to crush Putin government. Sounds nut to me.
