  1. The famines that happened in the 30-ies in the soviet union was not 'man made' but 'nature made' - drought causes agriculture to decrease by 30%. These droughts affected agriculture in a large region, not only ukrain, butn also russia and kazakhstan. In the same period the Soviet union was reorganizing agriculture and was creating collective farm practices, which lead to class strugggle between the landless peasants and landowners. The allegation that the famines were caused by the soviet politics is false, neither there was the intention of the soviet government to starve ukrainians. The victims of the famine were not just ukrainians, but also russians and kazakhs.
