The Big bang model of the cosmos, better known as the Lambda CDM model, nowhere states or inferes that the universe began from absolute nothingness or that the universe would have had some sort of absolute beginning. And I very much doubt the universe could have had a begin. How can it be argued that time would have 'begun' under the condition that time itself did not yet exist. It is a contradiction to state such a thing since 'beginning' already refers to tempoeral ordering, thus assuming time to exist, which however could not have been the case for the begining of time itself...
