  2. The only solution would be to use thermal isolation that also protects the tube from any outside damage.

  3. hyperloop can only be a single line or small network. hyperloop does not have a switch, so you can not add intermediate stations on a long route. hyperloop scales badly - increase in diamterer of tube (for comfortable size pods and room to walk, use toilet, etc) would quadruple the costs for the tube - any new station would also quadruple the amount of tubes to be built to connect it to all other stations (for N stations you need 2*N^2 tube to interconnect them both ways), as any tube can only connect between 2 stations. For a goods transport hyperloop might actually be good, since it could be small size, and it is not a problem that it does not directly connect between all the stations.

  5. is there any standard committee for hyperloop, so it is decided on the diameter of tube and pods (and goods container), since it would otherwise result in different incompatible standards.
