I think Russia can sustain itself despite these sanctions Like they did with their agriculture, they will simply become self sufficient, building their own tech industries, etc. For the west, not being able to access a large variety and amount of minerals, energy and food from russia might turn out to be a bigger problem. Food and energy will become expensive, and will create mass poverty.
