  3. The biggest airliner in the world, the Airbus 380 holds about 700 passengers; Boeings carry less so I think 500 flights is a very conservative estimate of the number of flights. Tens of thousands of dollars to put each of those planes in the air for a single flight. Yeah, that is a LOT of money and it matters to all of us!
