@LK-vy7jh Oh my goodness how horrible. How can people live with themselves when they do things like that to such gentle dogs. Greyhound racing definitely needs to be outlawed.

It is so sad that these dogs live the first part of their lives in such unnatural environments. Greyhound racing should be outlawed. Thank you for providing a good home and patience and understanding. At least they were able to experience love and companionship, as all dogs should. p.s. I have never gotten over fireworks either; the noise is deafening and feels like it's going right through me. So it's no wonder the poor animals are terrified.

@phoenixrising5088 Completely agree with you. Dogs like greyhounds and salukis should be PETS with loving homes that allow them to run on their own terms. Period. Ban racing and all forms of animal cruelty. They do not exist for our entertainment,. They are loyal loving creatures that deserve to get the same from humans.

@cathymonty6920 Salukis are known as Egyptian greyhounds because they have are also sighthounds with the same build, speed and grace. My sister rescues Salukis and other desert breeds in Dubai and ships them to a shelter in Seattle that specializes in rehoming greyhounds, salukis and afghans. If you ever have trouble finding a dog to adopt, that rescue has many beautiful sweet dogs.
