  1. All three are applying for the most important job in the country. When the rest of us go to a job interview, we do not get to dictate the terms of the interview. By the same token, none of the candidates should be able to make demands about how the debate will be conducted or who will be included. Biden and Trump need to come out of their ivory towers and play by the rules the rest of us have to live with.

  2. Her bias against him is disturbing. If she were really committed to the long game of giving independent and third party candidates a real chance at federal office, she should be supporting the once-in-a-lifetime candidate who can open the floodgates for that to happen.

What it actually means is someone who embraces innovation and change to make government work FOR the PEOPLE. That is a good thing. Teddy Roosevelt and FDR were on opposite ends of the political spectrum; Teddy on the right, FDR on the left, but BOTH were progressives because they stood up to the establishment on behalf of the people and both were hated by their own parties because of it. And FYI, the latest polls show RFK Jr hurting Trump more than Biden. RFK Jr has not flip-flopped on anything including abortion. If Trump could skewer RFK Jr on anything then why won't he take up RFK Jr's debate challenge at the Libertarian convention where they have both agreed to speak? Probably because RFK Jr is the one who would do the barbequing. The list of Trump's failures is long and glaring: He added more to the nation's debt than all the presidents before him combined, enlarged the swamp instead of draining it, never fixed healthcare, never made Mexico pay for the wall, oversaw the greatest transfer of wealth to the top one percent in the history of this country, failed to stand up to F ouch ee, and handed out huge tax breaks to the wealthiest American while running up the debt. And that's just for starters. Now he is peddling $60 blasphemous Bibles and good sneakers to bail himself out. We don't need another failure running this country.

  12. Aaron-zf4xw got it right. RFK Jr knew from the beginning what would happen if he ran inside the Dem party, but he needed to SHOW the public by letting it happen right before their eyes to explain why he was running independent. Despite the DNC's obvious manipulations in 2016, 2020 and 2024 there are still people who are blind to how core rupt it has become, but at least he gave his best effort trying to make it plain to them. RFK Jr is truly the most INDEPENDENT candidate we have had for decades, perhaps since George Washington, because he really does think for himself and wants to do what works for the PEOPLE, instead of the corporations.

  13.  @Aaron-zf4xw  I really like the way you think. Still, there are some party loyalists who will be in denial about how their candidate really did and tell themselves he won the debate. Some of these people are just as indoctrinated as c/u /l/t members. It's one more effect of decades of prop a ganda.
