  1. I live in a TAXING DISTRICT with 7.67% TAX on consumer goods; my state and local governments are going to collect 10 cents on every dollar instead of eight. Multiple that by tens or hundreds of thousands or millions of purchases and this is s a windfall for taxing districts while literally nickel-and-diming consumers. The rounding up will be even larger in taxing districts with, say a 5.35% local tax rate that increases to 10%, etc. Surely there are more consumer friendly things the President can tackle than this.
