She is also wrong about him being in favor of canceling student debt. He said he would forgo charging interest on student loans but not erase the principal. She is either not doing her homework or she is purposely misrepresenting his platform.

@MaggieR28 This is actually the second time I have heard her say that he would cancel student debt. It's almost like she is setting him up to look like he flip-flops on issues because at some point people who get seriously interested in him because they think he will cancel their entire debt are going to find out it's just the interest he wants to forgo and then they will feel deceived even though he has been consistent since the start of his campaign. The info is not hard to find so there is no excuse for Bri mischaracterizing his stance. It is so frustrating!

@juliestanfield8433 He has fully explained his reevaluation and realization that the Dem party is corrupt and he has publicly called them out on it several times. Being a Democrat requires being a party loyalist and he is anything but that.

She is still biased and misrepresenting his platform. She said he backs student loan forgiveness but actually he said he is only in favor of discharging the interest on student loans. Big difference. She is either not bothering to do her homework on him or purposely skewing what he says.

Literally every single person I have talked to about RFK Jr immediately throws his stance on Israel back at me as their reason for not supporting him and it is a hard line that they refuse to cross. I have heard everything from maybe they won't vote at all to voting West or Stein in spite of knowing neither can win. They see his stance as a fundamental flaw in his reasoning and distrust his sincerity. I agree that domestic issues are important enough to not make the I/P issue the deciding factor but everyone is entitled to their own assessment and convincing some people to not make this one issue the determinant is not realistic. When he comes out zealously pro-Zionist and calling Palestinians "pampered" while they are suffering and dying at the hands of Israeli's, he is the one who is putting the issue above domestic issues as much as these voters are. I want him to defeat the duopoly but he needs to tone down his rhetoric and stop being seen with Rabbi Schmuley to win the election.

@barryjames73 Not all progressives are socialists. For example, there are republican progressives who are no where near being socialists, The problem with labels is that they just cause confusion and misunderstandings as people have different perceptions and the definitions also get skewed over time,

@adriennelaf5083 Bri strongly supports her personal friend Marianne Williamson which is why she was bringing up her name every chance she got until her poor showing in the NH primary.

@bennyskim I totally agree with you that he cannot position himself as a peace candidate while simultaneously unconditionally supporting Israel and increasing funding to them,. Personally I do not agree with his I/P stance one bit, but I still think he is the best viable candidate. Like it or not, one of the three is going to be elected our next president and RFK Jr is no worse than the other two on this issue, but he is far better than the other two options when it comes to virtually every other issue. What I am saying is that he cannot convince enough voters if he continues with his zealous pro-Z stance. We need to defeat the duopoly in this country and he is the only one in a position to do that. Once we are over that hurdle we will be better able to deal with every other issue. But to get over that hurdle, Kennedy needs to talk more about diplomatic peace talks and less about funding Israel. For what it's worth, that is my calculation. I do not want Biden or Trump and there is no other viable candidate besides RFK Jr.

Exactly

@heatherweeks7944 I understand, I felt the same way for a while but then I considered the only other two viable candidates and that the next president is going to be one of the three. They are all virtually the same on the I/P issue, but on everything else Kennedy is far better and he is the only candidate in my lifetime who is capable of breaking the duopoly, which is vital for the future of this country. So he has my support in spite of his terrible stance on the genocide and I hope that he will see the light on this issue.

Several years ago, before running for president was on the horizon, RFK Jr said that he leaned strongly Libertarian so this stance is not as new as some people seem to believe.

@sirtra um, Bri is not a Libertarian (Robbie is) , otherwise what you said is true - she won't say a good word about RFK Jr.. She is still in for her friend, Marianne Williamson, whose name she almost always manages to slip into these discussions (but not since MW's dismal showing in the NH primary)..
1
@sirtra Actually both Bri and Krystal are personal friends of MW and supporters of hers. It was Krystal (and Kyle) who supposedly convinced MW to run again, but Bri jumped on board as a supporter and has advocated for MW's campaign by mentioning her name every chance she gets until right after MW's disastrous showing in the NH primaries. I can't stomach Krystal anymore and BP has become pretty much like MSM so I don't watch it anymore. All the best to you :)

@theresacroghan6 Actually Bri is highly educated and very intelligent, which makes her bias even worse. It means she has no excuse for misrepresenting his positions and spinning facts. She is good on some things but when it comes to RFK Jr she just seems to have it in for him and her attitude does not make sense. When you look at him compared to the other two disasters who could get elected it's no contest.

@Jayjaybay my sentiments exactly.
