I have read through the comments in this thread and I am pretty strongly aligned with your values but honestly I cannot see how you hold those stances and come up with Trump.
When it comes to being a noninterventionist,, RFK Jr is the most noninterventionist candidate of the three viable candidates while Trump has unabashedly proclaimed that he wants Venezuela's oil (because he is a tool of Big Oil) and is very unpredictable and cagey about what he might and might not do. Conversely, RFK Jr has denounced every war and interventionist action by the US since WWII. With respect to Gaza, it's a wash between the three, none are great, but Trump has the most pro-Z relative (Jared K.) of any of the candidates so that is a red flag. Remember Trump wanting the military parades and such to show off? That does not exactly enhance the image of him as a peace candidate. He relishes the idea of having all that military power AND being able to use it. Never trust an egomaniac. RFK Jr has also denounced NATO; he is absolutely the strongest pro-peace candidate of the three and has said he would handle I/P very differently to achieve a peaceful solution. All that said, I put my fellow Americans first. Without discounting the suffering of Palestinians, I am most concerned about the suffering of Americans here at home. This country is overcome with homelessness (including veterans), food insecurity, disease, addiction, and brutal crimes committed by desperate people who have no hope and nothing to lose. Anyone who ever said the Pledge of Allegiance pledged to THIS country first and foremost, We cannot help other countries while we have all these untreated festering wounds at home.
With regard to single payor healthcare, that is my personal number one priority for a number of reasons beyond what people usually associate it with. I firmly believe it is the only way forward for our citizenry. RFK Jr is the only candidate who has a sincere interest in our health and well being, AND is the only candidate who said he would sign a single payor bill if it passed Congress, which he candidly conceded would be a tough battle; but at least he genuinely believes in it and having that in a president would put a whole lot of pressure on Congress people who claim to be for it to make good on their claims and fight for it.
I also agree that workers' co-ops are the right direction for the chance for everyone to have upward economic mobility instead of our current shareholder wealth economy where the elites bilk the lower and middle classes. But if you think Trump would in any way endorse that direction, I think there are a number of things you are overlooking. A good article on this is "Trump's Corporate Cabinet" by Public Citizen. It goes through his cabinet picks person by person and details their corporate connections and conflicts of interest, Trump intentionally broke his promise to drain the swamp; he enlarged it instead. Some of those corporate connections are the very same corporations RFK Jr has sued for their corrupt actions. RFK Jr is the only candidate who is solidly on the side of regular Americans and has a 40+ year track record of fighting for we the people and our environment. The books RFK Jr has written, he has donated the proceeds to the Children's Defense Fund because he is serious about our health. No other candidate compares in terms of commitment to Americans in the economic lower and middle classes.
From what you have described, you sound like the kind of old-school democrat (i.e.. FDR, JFK, RFK Sr) that RFK Jr represents. And as far as the choice in PA being Trump v Biden, don't believe it. The polls were way off in 2016 when they kept saying Trump didn't have a chance. They are wrong this time too, but making people believe otherwise is exactly how they draw voters back into the "vote for the lesser of two evils" trap that perpetuates the system that has turned this country into an oligarchy. If RFK Jr did not have a real chance of winning in every state, the powers that be would not be pulling out all the stops to keep him off the ballot. It just does not make sense to vote Trump when you can vote RFK Jr to actually achieve most of your objectives AND break the two-party system. This is a once-in-a-lifetime candidate at a crucial point in history. I am not going to miss this opportunity, RFK Jr has my vote and I hope that you will reconsider.
