  1. Supreme Court justices are not supposed to be partisan, period. The role of SCOTUS is to be a check on the partisan system. The fact that that is no longer the case and that the SCOTUS has become plagued with partisanship shows how far our current government has fallen short of the founding fathers' vision and intent.
