  7. I live in MN and finding dead deer, bear and huge racoons on the road is not rare at all. It happens. It's a tragedy, a hazard to other drivers and wildlife and a waste unless someone tries to salvage the meat. The fact that Rising chooses to do this story instead of covering any of the issues that RFK Jr is addressing exposes them as being no better than msm in spite of their claims to the contrary.

If you raise them as your own and then release them, that would be a different matter. But honestly, it's interesting that you are willing to bend yourself into a pretzel to be obtuse just so you can criticize RFK Jr :)

  30.  @JerseyDaveel  What evidence do you have that he killed it? NONE, because he didn't. If he was the one who had hit it, his vehicle would have shown signs of a collision. And it makes zero sense that he would admit to dumping it but not to hitting. Hitting wildlife with a vehicle happens regularly in my area; no one ever gets in trouble; it is not a crime. There is no reason to hide it. Use your brain and stop believing the spin of a story that just happened to surface ten years later when he just happened to be running for president.

It seems like you are trying to stack the narrative to make it look like it could not have happened when it easily could have and does. Read through the comments; LOTS of normal people pick them up bear and deer weighing hundreds of pounds. . My veterinarian had a deal with local authorities to get all roadkill to feed to his mountain lions that he had to keep in captivity after some idiot declawed them and he adopted them to save their lives. People who live in rural areas and know wildlife know this sort of thing is not rare at all. And you are missing the point about off-loading it in Central Park; it was to draw attention to the fact that not enough attention was being given to people who were being struck, but suggesting that the same thing happened to a bear cub brought much needed attention to the issue.
