  1. Irresponsible dog breeders are the reason my veterinarian turned to being exclusively a feline practitioner. He said it was just too depressing seeing so many dogs suffer and not be able to help them because their problems were bred into them by ignorant and careless breeders who are just in it to make a quick buck. Pet breeding should require licensure where the breeder has to be certified after completing training in genetic breeding.
