We also do not need a former reality show host running the country, or a demented plagiarist. I will not vote for either of those. Kennedy refused to say who his pick is, but as far as disqualifying anyone for being a "jock", in Minnesota we had a famous NFL player named Alan Page who later went to law school and eventually served with distinction as Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Being an athlete does not mean someone does not also have a brilliant mind. We need to have debates among the presidential and VP candidates to know what they are capable of doing for our country; that is the purpose of debates and I will reserve judgment of the VP candidates until then.

He has Spasmodic Dysphonia, a condition that causes involuntary constriction of the voice box muscles. He has had surgery and is getting better. The important thing is the content of his speech, not the quality of his voice. If you listen to one of his long form interviews, you stop noticing it because he says such fascinating things. He is so intelligent and genuine that he draws people in and once they hear him out they are on board with his campaign. He is the only chance this country has to break the stranglehold the duopoly/uniparty has on our country.

RFK JR has repeatedly and clearly stated that he is not going to take anyone's guns away, PERIOD! He went even further, explaining that from a personal standpoint, he has lived in rural areas and understands the cultural attachment people have to their firearms and how upsetting it would be for many people to see those rights infringed upon. Even more importantly, as an attorney and patriot, he unequivocally supports the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. He is not going to do anything to undermine anyone's constitutional rights, especially their Second Amendment rights. Secondly, your statement about the funding of his campaign is also false. Kennedy has some of the same donors as Trump, NOT Biden! The interests backing Biden are doing everything they can to smear and undermine Kennedy's campaign because he is an even bigger threat to them than Trump; KENNEDY really will drain the swamp instead of expand it like Trump did. Thirdly, the Kennedy name recognition does not come from any brother of RFK Jr; it comes from his father and uncle. You really need to inform yourself, at least on some minor points, before you comment because everything you said discredits you.

The other two candidates do not have that handicap but both say the most idiotic, untrue and nonsensical things anyone could imagine ; nevertheless, you would vote for one of them before you would vote for the most honest, intelligent and well-informed candidate just based on his voice. He has had to work for what he has because the Kennedy trust set up by his grandfather has been so diluted by the huge number of family members that what each of them receives from it is nominal. He has repeatedly said that only one of his children has been able to afford to buy a home and they are all in their 20's and 30's; that does not exactly sound like a billionaire does it? One of RFK JR's close friends is a disabled fisherman who has had to struggle to afford food. Kennedy is more in touch with the problems of real people than anyone else. The MIDDLE CLASS is precisely what RFK JR is focused on and he has solid solutions to rebuild it because it is the backbone of our country. If you have not heard his emphasis on this you need to listen to some of his longform interviews wish various hosts on YT and the many clips on his Team Kennedy YT channel that address specific issues.

He is super fit, has lots of energy and could give you some pointers. The content of someone's speech is what is important, not the quality of their voice. We should never discount or minimize anyone because of a disability.

What is stupid is to not recognize how important it is to our economy to deal with the chronic disease epidemic in this country. We are losing ground to other countries because of it. The expense of treating it is draining this country's resources and badly compromising our economic productivity. It should be the central issue for every candidate but the other two candidates are too self-absorbed and ignorant to deal with it.

@joe5923 It sounds like you have not watched his workout videos that prove you are wrong. He IS SUPER FIT , has done intense daily workouts for years and would put most 20-somethings to shame. There are any number of disabilities that have nothing to do with fitness. Spasmodic dysphonia and vision and hearing impairments are a few that come to mind. Physical fitness is measured in terms of cardiovascular function and muscle mass. Put on your critical thinking cap before you comment :)

A person cannot be physically fit without being all around healthy and Kennedy is the most physically fit candidate we have had in decades. A person cannot engage in daily physical fitness training (which Kennedy does) without being all around healthy. His undergrad degree is in American History and he knows it backward and forward. Besides his law degree he went on to get a Master's degree in environmental law and attended the London School of Economics. He taught law at Pace University School of Law in NYC for years while simultaneously practicing environmental law where, for the last 40 years, he has taken on huge corporations and government agencies where he won multi-billion dollar verdicts that made history. He also started and ran two non-profits: Riverkeepers Alliance and the Children's Defense Fund to safeguard the health of people and the environment. In addition, he has authored numerous books and donated the proceeds to Children's Defense. Everything he has done has been beneficial to other people and the environment. He has stood up to corporations and agencies that no one else was willing to take on and he won. So what have you been up to? Because, on the Dem side the DNC rigged the primaries for Biden and on the Rep side, voters have been brain washed by Trump and think (erroneously) he is the only one who can beat Biden. I do not really know anything about Rodgers except that he played football but I will keep an open mind because in Minnesota we had a famous NFL player named Alan Page who later went to law school and went on to serve with distinction as Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court for many years. RFK Jr is in superb health, very physically fit. You can see videos of him lifting weights, sky diving, hiking, climbing cliffs, diving and more. He works out daily and has for years. Good health for all us is one of the cornerstones of his platform. His voice issue arose when he was in his 40's and developed Spasmodic Dysphonic which causes involuntary constriction of the voice box muscles. It has no effect on his overall health. He had a new treatment in Japan about a year ago and his voice has been very slowly improving ever since. Anyway, what is important is the content of his speech, not the quality of his voice. He is, by far, the most intelligent, honest, transparent, compassionate, energetic candidate in the race and he has my vote for sure. Please go to his YT channel, Team Kennedy. where he has short clips regarding specific issues and be sure to watch his rebuttal to the State of the Union speech a few days ago. He also has done many long-form interviews on other YT channels where he talks about everything in depth and it's really interesting. He wants to clean up our own government and prevent the World Economic Forum and AI from infringing on our freedoms. He is the only one talking about issues that affect all of us and he is the once-in-a-lifetime candidate who can break the stranglehold the corrupt duopoly/uniparty has on our country. He has my vote for sure and I hope you check him out for yourself.

Both of the other two had their chance and failed miserably. Trump promised to "drain the swamp" but expanded it instead by filling his administration with corrupt corporate shills - all of them were his own choice. Biden - also corrupt. A second chance for either of them? NO WAY! The only thing they showed is that they DON'T know how to handle this - not either one of them. Kennedy's remark about his wife was just him being tactful and not wanting to affront Trump or his supporters. He has made it a policy of his campaign to avoid making personal remarks about the other candidates so of course he is not going to give the real reasons for declining Trump's VP slot. When it comes to the presidency, RFK JR may defer to his wife on the decorating of their residential floor in the White House or the guest list for dinners but he will be squarely in charge of matters of State. Count on it.

True about billionaires; Trump claims to be one and Biden's wealth is from ill gotten gains. Kennedy is not a billionaire, has made his own way with only nominal help from his grandfather's trust which has been diluted by being divided by such an enormous family. He acknowledges coming from priviledge that afforded him an education but he has had to work for what he has and his personal friends span all levels of the economic spectrum. He is more in touch with the middle and lower classes than any other candidate and that is where his focus is.

If the answer is "No" then KENNEDY is your only option because no other candidate is even talking about the fact that our freedoms depend on keeping these forces in check. Same with the transition to CBC (central bank digital currency) in this country where the government will be able to control your bank account, freeze it if you do not comply with mandates. No one else is talking about these very real threats that have already stripped citizens of other countries of their freedoms. I cannot accept that happening in this country, so I am voting for RFK Jr.
