U.S. students are amongst those competing for slots in Cuban medical schools, which are free with a commitment to practice medicine according to the Cuban model of doing home visits, etc. The U. S. only ranks 69th in healthcare, behind much less industrialized countries. FACTS.

  15. I am voting for RFK Jr. He is our ONLY chance to pierce the duopoly's wall around power and open the gates for other independent and third party candidates. He is not offering everything I want but he is, by far, the absolute best viable candidate for the working class. Everyone who is fed up with the duopoly needs to coalesce around the candidate with the best chance to break the uniparty's stranglehold on our government and that candidate is KENNEDY.

  29.  @mhidou44  ; I do not agree with his previously stated stance on I/P either, but it is also not accurate to say he favors unconditional support for I. He has said he does not like Netanyahu and would have handled the situation MUCH differently. He is in favor of bringing both sides together and commit them to agreeing to a peaceful solution. Listen to his podcast "Path to Peace" where he speaks with a P. scholar and an I scholar.

As an American, reports like this have been part of an eye-opening revelation of how the U.S. has departed from being the "good guy" we were taught in the 60's and 70's it was to the hegemonic force it has devolved into.   38. I could listen to the brilliant Professor Michael Hudson for hours and soak up everything he says. Not so with Desai and Dunford: Desai dominates the conversation and does not do a good job of framing what she is trying to communicate, while Dunford I can hardly hear and find my mind drifting from boredom. Why not just have Ben interviewing Professor Hudson instead of including two people who are a strain to listen to?

  40. We need to have corporations stripped of personhood. Now they are also seeking voting rights as "persons". If you haven't signed Move To Amend's petition to pass a Constitutional Amendment stripping corporations of personhood, I encourage you to do so. Addressing this issue is long overdue.

  48.  @mhidou44  I am not making that issue the determining factor of who I vote for. I want a candidate who will break the duopoly's stranglehold and open the floodgates for other independent and third party candidates. RFK Jr. is uniquely positioned to do that. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do the most good for the most people in THIS country where many are suffering and dying of chronic disease, homelessness, hunger, addiction, crime, hopelessness and despair. Those Americans do not have the luxury of basing their vote on what is happening in other countries.
