  1. Why are these guys ignoring the 5th amendment and due process? You can't just say someone committed an insurrection on a legal basis. There needs to be due process. If the SC affirms the CO ruling then we can do it for all politicians. Due process exists for a reason.

  2.  @gameinsane4718  regardless, Trump has never been found guilty of an insurrection. People point to the 14th amendment but are ignoring the 5th amendment and due process.

  3.  @gameinsane4718  yes he does. Again, the 5th amendment and due process. Compare it to the 2nd amendment. You can lose that right if you are a felon. A judge cannot just say someone is a felon. They have to commit a crime, and then you go through due process: a hearing, trial, a jury, a verdict, to then be a felon. At that point you lose your 2nd amendment right. We have due process for a reason. Without it we can say Biden and Harris participated in an insurrection and ban them from all the ballots.

  4. Ever heard of the 5th amendment? There has been no due process here thus Trump has not been found guilty of participating in an insurrection. This will get overturned.

  5.  @ChrisSonPEI  what insurrection? A bunch of people showing up to the capitol, with no guns, killing no one, most being let in by police and taking tours, and leaving 2 hours later is not an insurrection.
