To be fair, as someone who was on SSRIs at one point, and knows a lot about them, initially a side effect is suicide. There is also a lot that is not known about SSRIs and how people react to them which is why there are many kids as there is very little known about the brain and medication and mental illness as a whole.

There are withdrawals from any medication, luckily they are not deadly besides benzos. Fun fact, only two substances have withdrawals that can lead to death, alcohol and benzodiazepines.

@bigboy4006 uh, it was you guys that started this with the whole plandemic. People voted for Trump and support RFK because we were lied to about covid and the vaccine because it was a plandemic.

it could be broad but with any mental illness it is not an easy topic to get a full grasp of. I was on an SSRI and it worked. It did not for one of my colleagues. In 2 years I was able to get off it. It varies. If the dosage is wrong, or if it is the wrong kind all together it can lead to bad results.

I own four guns. I have never seen one jump out of my apartment and commit a mass shooting.

Many doctors do overprescribe at times, or don't prescribe well. When I was depressed I had three doctors. One was great and prescribed me well. Another was not. A third was OK but prescribed Trazadone but not properly where I had a very difficult time ending my insomnia. At that point, and have a PhD helped, I was able to read up on the medication and condition myself and get myself in a stable situation without medication.
