Same with abortion. If you make the choice and it is illegal you will be punished. You always have the right to choose. The reality is that abortion is not a right. That is the the reality. Abortion is not a right. You always have the right to to choose. Whether or not what you choose to do is legal is completely different.

Just like I can't murder someone, but if someone attacks me I can defend myself against the attacker. With you jumping to the extreme case of rape says something about you at this point. You want to avoid a discussion and go to the extreme. With your next case you are talking about a what if. In many cases you truly do not know the situation with the baby and the mother. That is why that is a difficult legal case to battle. It is similar to other situations in healthcare where the medication Vioxx was banned because it increased the risk of heart attacks. But it cured pain very well for the elderly. Should Vioxx be legal? As for not harming anyone, abortions can harm communities. To me I find it sick that so many here are willing to vote for Biden to supposedly allow women to freely kill their babies at will and be open about it when our economy sucks. Also, after Roe was overturned abortion is still legal in most states. And with states that have restrictions, that is what the people want, and you can always go to another state. After Roe was overturned nothing really changed with abortion in the big picture, but people are freaking out over nothing and want to live in a bad economy. Sad. Also, sad where our morals have gone in this nation. So this idea that it does not harm others is false. You do not know my stance on abortion. I bet you think I am against it. Actually I support rare, safe and legal. But with what I am seeing now is sick. People seem to be praising abortion. As for you so call questionnaire, asking people if they support abortion is a very vague question. As I said, I assume you felt I opposed it. I support rare safe and legal. I also support keeping it to yourself and if you do it a lot then you are a bad person. People have limits. Also, you saying to just ask women is flawed. We are a community. I personally do not want to live with anyone, man or woman, who is so open to killing. That is why men get a say in this as well.

  12. Not true. A couple of reasons. One, abortion is very subjective with varying opinions and thus should be left up to the people via the states. More importantly, it is not listed in the Constitution, thus it becomes a state issue like murder, public education, traffic laws, etc. Almost every aspect of your life when it comes to government is via state and local government, not federal.

Biden said he would eliminate the virus but even with a vaccine we had the highest infection rate under him. If people want abortion to be legalized then do it at the state level.   30.  @7n154  at the state level you vote for your state representatives. Most states are putting it on the ballot. Some are leaving it to their state congress. If the people approve then fine. Also, you can still go to another state and get an abortion.
