Pakman has no idea how education functions in the US. States set their own standards. Over 90% of funding for public education is state and local. In K-12 education most funding is for at risk schools, or Title I schools which are mostly inner city schools. A lot of funding from the federal department of education goes to teacher unions and worthless grants to university students. Really, the department of education needs to go.

Most K-12 funding in education by the department of education is in Title I schools which are mostly inner city schools. Right now she has no authority to actually look at these programs until she gets the position. When she does get that position she will look at these programs and the executive order. She answered the questions.

No, it is that those programs are ran better at the state level. The more local you can make a program the more it serves the people and the more control the people have on those programs. You bring up abortion (which is not a right). People's opinion vary on it for several reasons. There is no one solution, so you let the states handle it. Some states want restrictions, others don't. And you as a citizen of that state have a louder voice, or you can move. And there will be no attempt to ban it at the federal level.

Fun fact, democrats were the ones that shut down schools in 2020 and 2021 and celebrated it while defending the teacher's union who also celebrated the school shut downs.

@AnyProofOfTheseClaims I agree, you didn't need to have an education to realize covid was not that deadly. Data was out as early as February of 2020 showing it was not a threat to children. But again, it was a plandemic. Got to destroy society because Trump bad and the democrats cannot gain power off of their merits and ideas.

I work for a scientific company. The head of the commercial team does not have a science background. His task is to present us the numbers from 2024, accomplishments, where we can improve, and strategies. I do the actual science. He was showing the numbers and how they made adjustments based on demand, the market, etc.

While we are a scientific company we have accountants, lawyers, marketing, etc. The department of education has lawyers, accountants, etc. Do you think just teachers run it? It is amazing how little you know. Maybe you need to educate yourself in how these agencies function.

@jaycorbin you don't have to believe me but we are a global company with over 160,000 employees. We are top 100 in Forbes 400, and we are one of the largest scientific companies in the world. As I said, the CEO does not have a science background, that is because we also employ lawyers, marketing, etc. My role is that of a scientist. The leader of the commercial team plays the role of strategy, what direction we should take. For example, with Trump now there are talks of targeting the oil and gas industry more. That is their job. But again, you don't have to believe me. My point is that even though I work in one of the largest scientific companies in the world, we hire a lot more than scientists.

@jaycorbin it is not based on the number of employees but on how much it is worth, stock prices, revenue, etc. SpaceX is number 85 in recent rankings in Forbes but has 13,000 employees.

@jaycorbin that is how we market our company. We sell numerous scientific resources such as spectrometers, consumables, glassware, etc. Yes, we have numerous applications. We have different departments that are more specific. But as a whole we are a scientific company.

@jaycorbin what are you saying? My company is a corporation. If you want to break it down we have different divisions. We have bought out other companies, we bought out one recently that was integrated in my division. This is why we are ranked so high. In my division in the past couple years we bought a gas analyzer and a Raman system. I work in the chemical analysis division. We have a bio division, material characterization division, a healthcare division, etc. But in the end we are all under one corporation.
