Because there is no simple answer. These issues are complex. This is a problem with leftists, which is why they keep failing. They expect simple answers to complex issues. And then they wonder why their policies keep failing.

With the path democrats are going we don't need elections. They will take their opponent off of the ballot and then pick their person without any votes. That is what is going to happen in 2028 at the rate we are going.

@sarahwilson3974 because we have a history of election being contested and investigated. Remember the 2000 election? I am old enough to remember that. The 2016 election was investigated for Russia collusion. In 2020 you had a unique situation with covid, the increase of mail in ballots, the changes in voting law, etc. Also, technology has been known to fail. Ultimately the Trump team was asking for an investigation of the 2020 election but was denied with many on the left saying it was secure and fair when for years they complained about Russia interfering with the 2016 election. That is hypocrisy there. The 2020 election was meant with many shenanigans. You had the lies of covid, the censorship by social media, the lies of racism, etc. Also, prior to that the most votes anyone has ever received in a presidential election was Obama in 2008, with around 69 million. Now you have Trump with 74 million and Biden with 81 million? Something is fishy there. What you have going on here are bias people trying to get JD in a gotcha moment on an issue that is very complex. One thing JD does well is not fall for it as he is very intelligent.

Those are reasonable answers. I know leftists love to grossly oversimplify complex issues, which is why they continue to fail on all policies. But the issue is complex. 2020 was weird an unique all around and the election should have been investigated, especially after the 2016 was.

@jamestragle9504 none of those lawsuits had an investigation. That is why they were dismissed. Investigation takes time. Think how long the investigation of Russia collusion took? Or even the January 6th committee that took 2 years to investigate it. I love how the left always contradicts themselves.
