  1. There is no proof that grocery stores are price gouging. There is so much involved in pricing a product. I recently bought two jars of pickles for $4 a piece. Were they $4 because the store was price gouging? Or did the pickle company jack up prices? Or did the company that makes the glass jars jack it up? Or the company shipping them? What is it?
