  8.  @CasperLCat  and this is where you are wrong. There is not data suggesting that the wealthy received a disproportional about of the tax cuts. In fact, the wealthy received very little at all, some receiving none. The vast majority went to the middle and lower class. I have a job right now that is a global company. We have over 160,000 globally. This is a global economy, period. The economy is constantly changing. When the mines dried up in Nevada does that mean we should keep paying miners? Or when the tractor replaced many workers on the farm does that mean we should still pay them as farmers? Or when technology replaced Blockbusters should we subsidize that? My dad worked in a battery plant in the 90s when batteries were popular. Many worked there and earned a nice living. Overtime many devices went to batteries on board that are rechargeable. Think about it, we went from walkmans that needed batteries to now iPods and cell phones to play music that are battery on board that are rechargeable. That is the evolution of the economy but according to you that should not happen. Because of the batteries on board the plant closed. But what you are suggesting is not have rechargeable battery on board but go back to walkmans with batteries we discard in the landfill. Also, Trump with the tariffs is pushing to bring job manufacturing back. What did prior administrations do? Nothing. What did Biden pass to help working families? The infrastructure bill that caused massive inflation? "Taxes are a cost item to business AFTER they make their gross revenue, while tariffs are a cost incurred BEFORE a company can make adequate gross revenue, and thus they FORCE companies to raise prices or get out of business altogether. " Sigh.....no, in both cases they are a tax on the company. Corporations also have share values as well that play a part. If you tax them more they will raise prices. With tariffs it is a negotiating tool between two nations that can bring jobs back to the US. With corporate taxes we are fighting ourselves. As for my education, I have an MBA as well as a PhD in physical chemistry. I am well educated. I don't watch Fox news. Trump is exposing corruption. How can career politicians like Warren become a millionaire? Answer that. How did Hunter Biden become rich without having a job?

  10.  @CasperLCat  sigh....3/4 of funding for roads is state and local. Our interstate system was fine. As for flying, there was no improvement in flying under Biden. In fact, in 2022 we saw the fourth highest number of cancel flights since 2000. The others being 2000, 2001 (9/11 happened that year), and 2020, the plandemic year. Remove 2001 and 2000 we have the 2nd most cancel flights in 2022 since 2000. Wow, that bill really did improve air travel. The national weather service has been fine and was not a part of infrastructure. Not all public infrastructure has to be government funded. We have toll roads for example. But as I said, the vast majority of the government funded programs is state and local. As for the private sector, don't you think it would benefit a business to invest in a road so people can go to their company? Or take a simple example, I worked at a local truck stop for years. When it snowed guess what, they plowed their own parking lot and shoveled their own sidewalks. Why? So people can drive up to the pump, so they can park, so they can safely walk in to eat. No city involvement. They also invested in canopies to cover the pumps so people can pump gas and not get wet during rain. So yes, private companies will invest in a way to benefit them. Investing in the stock market is not being an entrepreneur. I can invest in the stock market Monday if I wanted to. I agree, private enterprise won't do everything. But you are going on the extreme of thinking the federal government does it all. Local governments do it better. Again, almost all infrastructure you interact with daily is funded at the state and local level. If it weren't for the fact that I live in the city I would be using all local roads and not the interstate which makes up for around 10% of my weekly commute. And the irony is the interstate portion of my drive is the most hectic with the worst traffic. Your last paragraph sums up your ignorance. I have, from the beginning, pointed out that almost all infrastructure is funded and ran at the state and local level and I said it is ran better that way. I live in TX, the state with the second largest population in the US. In fact, with me supporting more state and locally ran programs means I support my neighbor more because I have to work with my neighbor to make sure my local community is ran well. You are the entitled one that wants the federal government to pay for everything. Like in California, they mismanage their forests leading to fires and expect other states to bail them out.
