I was watching the debate on a plane flying home and felt "well, by Biden's standard he did very well". What is disturbing is that so many Biden supporters were shocked by how bad he looked.   17. What jet lag? He was back in camp David practicing days before the debate. Also, his job is to travel a lot, especially internationally. He should be up to flying overseas in a jet and then giving a speech, or meeting with leaders. That is why being president is a hard job, it requires a lot of work thus you need someone that can do it. Also, him having a cold, again, he should be able to work through it as president. Also, what happened to public health? Afterwards he was shaking hands with the moderators. Remember covid? Didn't we learn about the importance of public health and not spreading diseases? And Joe is honest? Really? He lies constantly. He lied during that debate. He said border patrol supports him, they don't. He says no American soldier died under his presidency, that is a lie. That is why we have low enrollment numbers in military, people don't respect him, especially after the vaccine mandate and him checking his watch during the funerals of soldiers. How would Trump be a dictator? We saw 4 years under him and he did not become a dictator. Biden on the other hand is. Biden tries to sidestep Congress and the courts to push through the vaccine mandate and student loan forgiveness. Trump wants to dismantle federal agencies which will reduce the powers of the executive branch giving more powers to the states and thus the people.

He focused on issues most important to the people, the economy, the border and the wars. People do not care about climate change if they cannot put food on the table. That is actually an issue not many discuss on climate change. People are not going to support higher energy prices to maybe save the world in 40 years. That is especially true if they are currently having trouble putting food on the table.

I will be honest, when I was watching the debate my bar for Biden has been set so low I thought he reached it. That is how bad he is. My bar was that he could not last the full 90 minutes, that he would mumble a lot more, that he will forget words like he did when he said he finally beat medicare. I think that is what he has been doing for decades. Trump is coherent. Does he ramble?
