  13.  @drcheriquinn  to add on Trump's talking point, this is similar to educational standards like common core. I was a substitute teacher in grad school to earn extra money. To do that I had to either take a federal and state constitution test, to take a two day course. One point brought up, I believe it was Montana said they will study common core standard for years but won't take the tests. The federal government said they will cut funding for their state and Montana said "watch us". So I agree with you on funding for education and where it mainly comes from, but the federal government has been known to try to strong arm states in doing what they want. And if you have a state that is not managing their funds well, that can leave to options. Montana is not really a state with a major city and many Title I schools, but what about New York? What about California? And then it comes a political thing where if, say Newsom passes a vaccine mandate and loses money, people can blame him for not getting federal funds. So it is a talking point. Trump knows the law, he is playing politics here where both sides do it. You see it here on this video and Pakman's fans saying cutting federal funding in education will destroy it when in reality it won't as people really don't know how the system works.

  14. Elites, for years, were dividing us and weren't solving problems. Tell me, when has Trump ever ridiculed Clinton and Biden voters as a whole? Never. Obama did it with rural voters, Romney did it with his tax payer comment, Clinton called Trump voters deplorable and Biden called them a threat to democracy. Along with that the elites were not solving problems. Why didn't Obama and the democrats codify Roe? In the debate Clinton said Trump pay no taxes. Well, she has been in the senate for years, why didn't she change the laws? Why didn't the democrats do it during Obama's first two years when they had 60 votes in the senate? Trump got tax reform passed. That is why Trump gained popularity. People got side of the elites dividing us and not solving problems.

A reason why I voted for Trump was that when you have Biden saying around half the voters are a threat to democracy, and Trump calls Biden sleepy Joe while never ridiculing Biden voters, that shows true character.

  31. Actually it is a contradiction of the left. The right do not say teachers are paid too much, they oppose the teacher unions as they oppose public unions. They support teachers as many do a lot for their local communities. And no, they are not doing everything they can to privatize schools. They want school choice. Come May of 2020 it was clear covid was not dangerous. Many republican ran states opened up their schools in the fall and had fall sports and were fine. Democrats kept pushing the lockdowns. "So, if kids weren't learning and were at home... Then maybe we should blame the parents who expected to teach their children - or at least guide them through the zoom class sessions. " It isn't that easy as not everyone has the resources to do that. Looking at one of my students as a TA, she had to take her online test for college outside of the public library because her home internet was not efficient. However, she could not go inside the library. "Parents argue they aren't teachers. Teachers argue that's right, so pay us and then give the tools to teach your kid. " Teachers that make that excuse are lame. Teachers who struggle with their salaries are actually teachers in major cities like LA or the bay area. In small towns teachers own homes and do well. "What I never understood was the falling off in reading skills. How hard is it to sit your child down and make him read. " Because not everyone have time to do that. Also, it goes beyond reading, it is also comprehensive skills.

And who cares if she has a law degree? Many people have law degrees. Trump knows the law as well as a business owner. He understand tax laws which is why he paid no taxes. To be a business owner you need to know the law, if you don't you will fail. Harris only got where she is at because she had sex with the mayor of San Fran.   69. There comes a point where grades don't mean anything, what you produce does. I had like a 3.3 GPA in grad school but got a job in 6 weeks because I had 7 published papers. A colleague of mine had a 3.7 and it took him a year to get a job as he had only 1 published paper.
