A voter turnout of 2/3 is high compared to prior years.

@EmeralBookwise the disenfranchised voters were people like me that lost faith in the system. I am glad Trump won. Also, 2/3 of voter turnout is high compared to recent years where it was less than 50%. To me we saw a voter turnout of younger, first time voters voting against the democrats. If voter turnout was higher Trump would have won by a larger margin.

@EmeralBookwise you can't really compare to other nations as other nations make it a requirement to vote. In the past higher turnout is bad for republicans, but that is because more younger people are voting. Trump is winning over the young male vote as they have become tired of being mansplained on things and being called sexist. I wouldn't be surprise if Trump also starts getting support of young women due to democrats allowing men to play in women's sports. But think about it, in 2016 we had NFL players taking a knee, now we have them doing the Trump dance. You had an entire fraternity doing the Trump dance. The younger generation that can vote for the first time became sick of how democrats were treating them with their wokeness. Also, what evidence is there the republicans engage in suppression tactics? On your last part, ever thought democrats need to change their messaging and their approach? Maybe connect with the people as opposed to berating them?

@charleslinaburg5510 In jail for what?

The point of the electoral college is to let the states decide as the federal government serves the states, not the people. It should remain that way. The will of the people is handled at the state level.

So you guys are already talking about another plandemic I see.

@jjmarcgagnon2386 we had one in the 1770s and it led to the US where even if someone tries to jail their political opponent that person can still become president if the people want.

@ImpeccableLiving under Trump those things were more affordable. For example, homeownership rate grew under Trump where years prior it was dropping. Also, your comment pretty much sums up why people voted for Trump. You provide nothing but hate.

Really it is the opposite. This election was the least polarized election since 1964, as in you had more blacks, hispanics, etc. voting or republicans where in the past they mainly voted democrat. Trump also ran on the idea of taking on the liberal elites that were dividing us and it worked. Answer this, when has Trump ever ridiculed Clinton, Biden and Harris voters as a whole? Never.

@marisabenson1222 it was a combination of things leading to Trump's victory, but big ones are The economy Immigration Foreign wars The woke movement Noticed how when Trump won the NFL is allowing Redskin symbols to come back and are taking down the "End Racism" messages? We went from NFL players taking a knee in 2016 to them doing the Trump dance. The younger generation grew up in the woke movement and they do not approve of it. Now they are voting age and voted against it.

You bring up hate train, answer this, when has Trump ever ridiculed Clinton, Biden and Harris voters as a whole? Never. Harris calls Trump voters nazis and no one bats an eye. Trump calls Harris stupid and people freak out. The hate train is being driven by the left, mainly the liberal elites and the people are done with it. Stop being so hateful and try to understand other peoples' positions.
