  2. Trump has openly stated he supports students coming here and getting an education and getting a job. He said if you are an international student and you get a degree in the US you should automatically get a green card.

  5. MAGA is not turning on Elon Musk. What you have hear is a healthy discourse. That is something the democrats don't have. Democrats just toe the line with their leaders no questions ask. Look at how they quickly supported Harris when the democrat leaders said to support her. Or the pick of speaker of the house. Every democrat support their candidate, no question. Republicans ended up supporting Mike Johnson but not without a fight to get what they want. That is all that is going on, looking for a common ground and opposed to just giving people want they want. There is no divide here.

  7.  @debienervina1801  you can remove the federal department of education right now and you will see no change. Over 90% of funding for K-12 schools is state and local and states set the standards.

  8.  @BlackV1ruZ  I know what it is about. Most taught in college you can learn on your own. Take musicians as an example. You don't need college for that. What college does is show employers you are willing to invest time and money to accomplish a long term goal. Some degrees require proper schooling like nursing and being a doctor. But most you can learn on your own.

  9.  @BlackV1ruZ  to add, I am a sports official. I did not go to college to do that. I signed up for my local officiating association, read the rule book, went to study groups, did scrimmages, etc. I didn't go to college to get a degree in sports officiating. I did a lot of the learning on my own. Or take a car mechanic who learned how to work on cars on their own.

  10.  @wsb4586  first off, you guys literally shut down schools in 2020 and 2021, remember? Next, you need to understand what the real value of a higher education really is. We do have issues, I feel in the US too many young kids are told to pay a lot and the jobs will come when they do not develop any skills in the process. And what about Florida?

  13. Those farmers and restaurant workers are here legally. We have no problem with legal immigrants, we don't like the illegal ones.
