  24.  @rikaardyyz3039  ok, sure, but the UK has less McDonalds per capita. That is one thing to look at. The youth unemployment rate in the UK is over 12% where it is around 8% in the US. So there is that. " Just because you work in a warehouse doesn't mean it's a brainless job and you don't deserve a wage.." Warehouse workers make very well in the US. You can make around $27 per hour plus benefits. You do have the added benefits there. "In Europe we all get four weeks paid holiday ( vacation) plus another week in paid public holidays." And your productivity is lower than the US. Besides, Europe consists of many different nations all with different laws. Like, for example, Norway which has no minimum wage. Their economy is strong. How do you account for tha? "And OMG women only get 12 weeks maternity leave yet here they get 52 weeks" In the US that depends on the company and it is also and issue of culture. In the US we encourage women to pursue goals. Why do you think, until recently, the US women's soccer team was so good? Because we promote women pursuing goals as opposed to them being baby factories. "On the flip side it's OUR right to Free health care but for Americans it's a privilege." In the US we banned slavery thus we do not force doctors to serve people who cannot pay. "Everyone should have a fair wage even flipping burgers." Define a "fair wage". Why is it that so many of your leftists give such vague statements and then cry when people much smarter than you outsmart you? As with the min. wage. It is an oversimplified solution to a complex problem where intelligent business owners work around it. Such in the UK where they have a higher youth unemployment rate. Please, explain that.

  38.  @iak706  "First, it would be silly to think that trump doesnt pay more taxes because the tax code doesn't require him to. Perhaps you should look into the lawsuit against him in new york that he lost" It is not silly at all. He gets audited all the time. What law suit did he lose? Also, the conversation was federal taxes. "The one where he made it look like his properties were less valuable on paper, so that he could pay less tax." Oh, you mean the lawsuit where he did that years ago and now he is being challenged on it because the political left hates him? That was an asinine suit. You mean the bank and government cannot do an audit? Seems like either banks are not smart or the IRS. "As president he signed a large permanent tax cut for the top 1% of earners, continued to spend and create the largest deficits in u.s. history" He did not do a permanent tax cut for the 1%. Again, to get that you need 60 votes in the Senate. He did not gat that. He did a corporate tax cut to 21% to bring it down to the level of European nations. Next, on the deficit, if you look at FRED stats his deficit as percent of GDP was less than 5%. Obama's first 3 years was over 5% until the republicans took over the House. Under Biden's first 2 years it was over 5%. So both Obama and Biden, with Democrat controlled congresses had a higher deficit. "That deficit spending was a major contributor to recent inflation." What caused mass inflation were democrats shutting down businesses telling people not to work while giving them free money. Production was down and money was being created left and right. And again, Biden's deficit with a democrat controlled congress was higher compared to Trump. It is only going down now because a republican House, just like they did with Obama, is slowing down spending. I am sorry, facts matter. You can look up FRED stats on that.
