  8.  @spud13x13  there was no treason on that day. A bunch of people off the cuff go to the capitol and leaving a few hours later is not committing treason. The damage was minimal and one person was killed who was one of the rioters. That is nothing compared to the months of riots, damage and deaths that the left supported in 2020.

Trump delaying the trials is smart. The indictments on him are purely political to try to harm him during the election. Not my fault Trump is smart and people like Jack Smith are not. If Trump was so guilty why wait so long to indict him? I am a moderate and before Trump I felt both sides had legit point.   16. That court did not find that. There was no actual trial, there were no charges presented and Trump was not found guilty. Also, that would be a federal case, not a state one.

That is why the SC overruled the CO ruling. States have no legal grounds on who committed an insurrection. So what facts do you have?

They went to the capitol off the cuff, were not armed (zero guns). And after a few hours they left and congress gathered and confirmed the vote that same day. How is that trying to overthrow the government? What was their big plan? Nothing. And you this dense? I did not agree with what happened on Jan 6th, but in no way did I feel it was going to lead to overthrowing the government. What were they going to do? Say they did overtake the capitol. They had no plan. They had no supplies such as food and water. I mean, I guess we can see the FBI getting involve and turning it into Waco 2.0.
