  1.  @Oneshot8242  I am a moderate. For years I have seen both sides having legit points and depending on the situation and culture their ideas can work. I support smaller, more local governments to allow the people to govern themselves based on their beliefs and culture in their part of the nation where the federal government is there for two things; deal with foreign affairs and commerce between states. After the Trump years and covid I, as a moderate, despise many democrats. I have seen how power hungry they are and how far they are willing to go to gain and keep power. I also seen how much the contradict themselves. They claim to be for women's rights but can't define what a woman is and allow men to participate in women's sports. They claim to be for education but then shut down schools. They claim to be for science but then do a lot of anti science action during covid. Or during covid they claim to be for the environment but demanded people wear masks which increased pollution. Jimmy Kimmel said he supports healthcare for all but then says those that are not vaccinated should be denied healthcare. The list goes on. During the Trump years and covid the evilness of the left was truly exposed.

  6. Under Biden you get the status quo with our leaders, but you get a terrible economy and more wars (well, wars are the status quo) Under Trump the economy was strong and no new wars. However, the elites could not have an outsider making things better so they created chaos. My big fear is that if Trump wins the liberal elites will do covid to the nth degree to completely destroy our nation from within just to spite Trump.

The left claims to be for democracy but then want to take Trump off of the ballot.

  8.  @cybertoe1221  republicans did not propose that bill. It was supported by less than a handful of republicans in the Senate and republicans in the House did not as they had their bill. Also, Biden can shut down the border if he wants with current laws. He is choosing not to because he wants a bill that also gives a lot of money to his best friend in Zelenski.

  17. The US is a large nation and there is only so much time in life. I try to stay informed but there are limits. People work jobs, have families, hobbies, etc. This is a reason why I support a limited federal government and more power at the local level of government. At the local level you can see first hand how government works for you and you have control. You can't do that at the federal level. I remember when I moved out of Missouri to go out west and people did not know that there was a Kansas City, MO. The reality is our nation should be set up that the president has little influence on our lives. A reason why I support Trump is because that is the type of system he wants. Biden wanted to use federal agencies to have a large role in our lives.

Under Biden we have a bad economy and more wars and a man who most see as too old. Under Trump the economy was great, but the drama attached to him was too much for many people.   33. I did not vote for Trump in 2016. I did in 2020 for 4 main reasons. One was that the economy was strong under him and no new wars. The SC discussed this and have argued to the point that if someone speaks up during the SOTU address will that be an insurrection? Or if someone does it in Congress? A few months ago two congressmembers were looking to fight that was stopped by Bernie Sanders. By your standard that is an insurrection. Or when democrats in TX left the state to prevent a vote on a bill, that is an insurrection by your standard.

  40.  @MultiBlackmind  when you read laws there are typically a section of definitions. And even at that we have the courts that interpret the laws. Take the insurrection issue. When Trump was being removed from the ballots the SC took the case. There they were bringing up challenges on what is an insurrection, as in what is disruption of government. Things like speaking out loud or out of turn during a congressional hearing, which both sides do, was brought up. That is one of the reasons why Trump was not removed from the ballot because allowing such standards will lead to chaos. That is why you just can't site a dictionary, there are higher standards than that.

  45. Well, I agree 100% with what you said. However, here is my fear, covid. I saw how far the democrats were willing to go after impeachment failed to beat Trump. I feel if Trump wins in 2024 the democrats will do what they did with covid to the nth degree for his entire presidency destroying the US from within. I live in TX, so Trump is going to win my state. However, that does cross my mind a lot.
