  1.  @lauram5195  wow, someone here with honesty. You are correct that the ER cannot turn someone away. I went to the ER once and they immediately put me in a bed an started to monitor my health to access the situation. They did not start asking question nor give me a bunch of forms to fill out. I did that later. Same with the ambulance ride.

  2. Funny how in these stories there are no names of the patient and no names of the ER. Sounds like this is fake.

  4. You can't turn away patients from the ER. They have to take you in and give you care regardless if you can pay. It is one of the reasons why healthcare is so expensive in the US. Many receive care but can't pay.

  7. To start, is this evening happening? There is no evidence of it and all these so called horror stories end up being fake.

  9. What rights are you losing? Also, when many of what you are saying there is a lot more to it than just supposedly treating women as second classed citizens. Take your first point on the credit card. How much was it that at that time few women were in the workforce and thus were considered high risk to begin with? Also, women are not being told to do with their bodies.

  10. He has no names because this story is fake. An ER has to give a patient care until they are stable. Deal with the legal and financial details later.
