  1. The point of pushing the immunity issue is not to necessarily win it but to delay the court dates. Jack Smith and the liberal elites thought they were being clever in indicting Trump and setting court dates so close to the election. Well, turns out Trump is outsmarting them. The appeals court will either rule in Trump's favor. If not it will go through the Supreme Court delaying the court date again. The SC has so much on their plate they won't be able to get to it until March, at the earliest. After that then you start going into May and June to have any conversation of a possible court date if the SC does not rule in favor of Trump. By then primaries are set and we are in the general election. Causing delays in the system is a tactic.
