  5.  @LauraRodriguez-po2vx  there is a difference between someone belittling you or degrading you. If I am dealing with a customer and they are degrading me I can simply ask to not work with them. If they get personal I can say something back and at that point management steps in. I am free to defend myself from being degraded. That is something different than having a difference in political belief. A politician in your workplace, or someone with a difference in political belief than you is not a threat to you personally, period. You say "I'm not a follower so nobody intimidated me" What is intimidating with what Vance did? Did he degrade those workers personally? No. He has a difference in beliefs politically, and that is it. I dealt with many people like that, especially in graduate school. I was professional because that is what you do and I also know that in the end those people's political beliefs mean nothing to me personally. You say " Never feared losing a job because I am a highly educated and trained professional." Here is the harsh reality, everyone is expendable, period. I am highly educated and a trained professional, I can lose my job if I make a mistake. Can I find another one? Sure. But that means going through the job hunt process again and possibly moving again. Also, if you keep acting unprofessional you develop a reputation. I feel you are a fool. I dislike Harris and all that she stands for. If she were to visit my lab I will treat her with respect and not bring up politics. If she did I would say who I support, but again, I will be respectful. Why? Because in the end of the day she does not pay my salary, she does not have a strong influence on where I live, what I do for a living, what activities I do, and how I live my life as a whole. And here is a reality check for you, Vance has little to now influence in how you live, how much you make, what you do for a living and your life as a whole. It seems like you are not very educated and not very professional.

And why they will be irrational and act like you do where people on the right don't. You feel Trump and Vance, if they win, will have a strong influence on your life. Guess what, they won't. Just like those on the right with Biden. Yes, under Biden the economy has been terrible and our nation has been a mess. But in the end of the day those on the right will keep working through hard times instead of making excuses. If you act the way you claim you would act you will have nothing to gain and a a lot to lose. You will lose respect of the people around you that you interact with on a daily basis. As with me, if Harris were to visit my lab in the end the chances are that would be the only time I would interact with her in my life. Why should I radically change my life for that? You have zero self respect nor integrity if you are willing to ruin your credibility in the eyes of the people around you.

Such as Clinton saying Trump paid not taxes and he pointed out that she has been in congress for years and never changed the tax code to have it so he pays taxes. Trump is the first president in decades to lose money after being president. He sacrificed his wealth for the nation.
