@ChadRD more to it than that. To start, look at wage growth. Even though according to FRED there was an increase in labor participation, thus an increase in the supply of labor, wage growth was higher under Trump than it was under Obama according to the Atlanta Federal Reserve. Under Obama it was around 2%, under Trump it was over 3%. But a big one was the wage growth of the bottom 1/4 earners. Under Obama it was around 2%, under Trump it was around 5%. So the lower income earners were seeing a higher wage growth under Trump than under Obama.
Or take homeownership. From 2004 to 2016 homeownership rate dropped 6%, under Trump it grew 5%, according to FRED. Take gas prices, gas prices, according to FRED, were lower under Trump compared to Obama and Biden.
I can go on with even more numbers. Look at FRED total nonfarm employees. Under Obama's 8 years the lowest was 129 million and peaked to 144 million, so around 15 million jobs. Under Trump it was 144 million to 152 million in 3 years. So 15/8 is 1.875 million jobs a year. For Trump 8/3 is 2.67 million jobs a year. Job growth was higher under Trump. So Trump had more job creation.
I can keep going.
