  1. I can understand why people like her. You can read about her education and she was not a born and bred political creature like the others. IIRC she studied computer science and then worked in that field. The remaining favourites read law/politics and you know the rest.... All of them your archetypal global managerial elites. They make my skin crawl.

  2.  @stig5885  Thanks for bursting my bubble. One can hope upon hope that somebody stands out, but the truth is it doesn't matter who ends up as prime minister. They are a kind of ceremonial head of state anyway, like the queen. True power and the ability to steer the direction of a nation comes from higher up.

  3. I don't think the Cathedral would allow it. They want their token woman of colour in a position of power but definitely not one who knows what a woman is or one who doesn't make every issue all about sYsTeMiC oPrEsSiOn.
