  1. This has been going on for years. I lived next to a woman a few years back who had some mystery disability. It was some kind of depression/anxiety. She spend all day doing fuck all and constantly had a new car, replaced every 3 years on the taxpayer's tab. Meanwhile there was me working every hour God sent and driving an old banger that I worried might break down at any time.

  2. We talk about UBI with horror... the idea of abdicating our freedom to be looked after by the state is abhorrent to us. But a lot of people are effectively already on it.
