Anyone get the silent ones? I get visual flashing and blind spots for about 20 minutes, slurring words a bit, then it's all gone and I feel fine. No headache. Usually brought on by tiredness or if I'm sick and run down etc. I wonder sometimes if it's even migraine but the doctor seems sure it is.

@JoanneWadsworth I bet it was very scary coming on so fast. I know mine was the first time. I was only about 20 but I thought I was having a stroke. I was working in a TV shop and was talking to a customer, then I realised I couldn't see their face. Fortunately I get a good 5 minutes warning - it starts with a tiny prick of light to the side which then grows slowly.
