  1. Oh I don't know. Racism is a perfectly normal and healthy evolved behaviour. Trouble is we have been tolerating it from certain groups and coming down like a ton of bricks on others. True equality is when either everybody is allowed to be racist or nobody is.

  4.  @NeonForceGetsuga  In most tribes, another tribe is a rival at best and at worst an existential threat, to be kept at arms length and to be attacked if they encroach on your resources. It's not about "not liking" the other guys, it's an evolved selective pressure. I would suggest that tribalism and racism are effectively the same thing. Racism is tribalism expressed in a liberal democracy.
