The BBC do this exact thing here at home in the UK. They sneer at white working class first nation British people, even though religion isn't an issue here.

@ashtray1647 I mean mental illness is definitely real... And not entirely unrelated to this conversation.

@cjlooklin1914 Oh please. A woman is an adult human female. Before she becomes a woman, as it is in any culture, she is a girl. In other words a juvenile human female. She is endowed from birth with the characteristics that enable her to bear and give birth to a child, which is what makes her immutably female. This is not a social role. "Carer" is a social role. "Guardian" is a social role. "Friend" is a social role. "Woman" is a biological fact.

@Emperorhirohito19272 Does "gender affirming surgery" install a functional womb and ovaries into a man, or functional sperm producing testes into a woman?

Another pathetic strawman hit job on the Christian right. Just what we expect from the BBC.

@Emperorhirohito19272 Can I identify as black? Is that okay? If I call myself it then surely it makes it real? I'm joking of course. Rocking up with my pasty white ass and calling myself black would be as stupid as me rocking up with my wiener and two balls and calling myself a woman. Where do you kids get this tripe from?

@klh800 Don't ask me what the function of testicles or wombs are. Ask mother nature. She didn't give me a penis to get pickles out of a jar with. And yeah... the "not all women/men" argument is DOA. Obviously not all women have functioning wombs etc etc, but the vast majority that don't are in this condition for medical reasons - and the people who are born genuinely biologically intersex (without just calling themselves that because they had feelings for their BFF once) are such a vanishingly small minority that I doubt any of us have met more than a handful in our whole lives they are so rare. The norm, no matter how much you wish it otherwise, is binary sex; male and female - man and woman. It has been for a million years and it always will be. Every generation of your ancestors going back to the beginning of mammalian life on earth have been a male and a female reproducing.

@patientswim6888 I'm a British Anglo-Saxon. I am every bit as "first nation" in Britain. I'd love to hear your argument as to how a Cherokee Indian is more "first nation" in the USA than I am in Britain?

If only the left could exercise their own cults in private too.

@nomaybeyes5681 It's simple numbers a 3rd grader could understand. Whites are being replaced.
