@Nickle314 Erm... yes, that would be racist. Whichever way you swap it, it's racist if you discriminate based on skin color. I think you misunderstood my comment.

@Nickle314 There is a possible contributing 3rd answer which is the cultural and media brainwashing of blacks - leading them to believe they are under attack by a systemically racist society, which must be demoralizing for many of them. Not to mention the idea that emulating their more successful peers is considered "inauthentic" to the black lifestyle. Consider the effects of an article such as Aspects and Assumptions of Whiteness in the United States - a publication by the Smithsonian Museum in 2020 that outlined a comprehensive list of attributes of whiteness... presumably for the black youth to look out for and avoid if he wished to remain culturally compliant. These attributes included punctuality, family structure, rational thinking, planning for the future and respecting authority. As a white person reading this, I was honestly flattered.
