  4. I'm ambivalent about Rishi. He's in there because he's their guy. They groomed him for the job for years and intended him to be elected instead of Liz Truss... who our representatives did vote for. Nobody voted for Rishi Sunak. He seems like a nice harmless guy and all. But he isn't our legitimate leader as far as I'm concerned.

  5. They threw every trick in the book at her didn't they. It was obvious she was no more their guy than Boris was. In fact, for the brief time she was in office, we had the closest thing to an actual conservative prime minister for most of my lifetime.

  13. Are you sure you don't want to think about that statement? The markets in fact made a miraculous recovery almost the instant that Truss was couped out of office. And.... this might be a shock to you as you clearly don't pay too close attention to current affairs... Rishi Sunak has been prime minister for almost a year. Oh and he was chancellor of the exchequer for two and a half years before that. I'd be hard pressed to name a single individual who is more responsible for the present economic state of the UK.
