  1. How do they actually control your consumption? I don't have one but I work in houses that do and a lot of people have the panel in the kitchen so they can say "ooooh' at how much it goes up when the kettle is on.

  2. Hey, Smart Meters are great. You can see exactly how much you're using, at what time of the day, what devices are using it and be able to control your heating remotely... But then so can they...
