  2. I'm starting to think that the enormous power requirements of these systems will pose one of the biggest problems. Imagine giant corporations just buying up all the power production to fuel their super intelligences and leaving the rest of us in the dark.

At the end of the day, the fashion industry is a rather grotesque microcosm of the idea of beauty which exists the way it does mainly due to a group of gay men who seem to own so many of the major brands. The models tend to be thin, tall and bordering on the homogenous. It explains why if you ask the average straight guy on the street, he will not tell you that catwalk models are attractive.
