The only caveat to that is that "pricked" people may feel they are protected and therefore go to events or travel around in a way they might not have done otherwise. Meaning they spread it more. Just a thought.

Yes because you are imposing selective pressure on the virus I would assume.

I suppose it depends on your immunity through previous infection or vaccination. And a degree of luck.

@Dermahon13 Well the data clearly shows you can catch it twice. But if you've had it before then you have some degree of immunity so it will be a lot less severe. Probably most people won't even notice their 2nd infection.

@Dermahon13 I can throw myself in front of a bus on two subsequent days and the outcome may be very different even though the circumstances look the same. There is a degree of luck in more or less everything in life and covid is no different. Our immune system wanes and strengthens all the time without us even realising it. I you catch covid one week it might not effect you in the same way as if you caught it the week after.

@JagoffCitizen Agreed. A roulette ball is subject to unknown factors sufficiently complex to make it theoretically possible but functionally impossible to predict accurately where it will land. This is indeed what we call luck.
