It's no joke. I'm aged mid-40s. I had it in June and it was a few days feeling groggy, sore throat, migraines, everything tasted weirdly bitter, but by no means on death's door. But the after-effects left me feeling like I was mildly hung over for about 2 months with chronic fatigue and lack of focus and concentration. I consider that I got off lightly, but it really was quite disruptive, especially for my work. I'm happy to say I'm back to full speed now and it put a rocket up me to live a healthier life in general.

I'm having the same symptoms and actually they seem to be getting worse.

@Roc-Righteous It's hilarious. He just lies up there in congress saying he never advocated lockdowns and someone has mashed up that video with a dozen clips of him directly advocating lockdowns.

@mjulianlee I had 3 covid jabs, last one in December 2020. Not that I wanted them, but we all have different circumstances.

Did you get a craving for sugar? I sent my wife out to buy a load of Lucozade, which tasted like crap anyway while I had the virus.

@barryschwarz I don't think anyone is saying it was deliberately released. The controversy was if it accidentally escaped from a lab or not.

@stoicsceptic8420 Yes I have answered it. There are a lot of replies, that's all :) I was jabbed 3 times, the last time in December 2021. Incidentally, I was reluctant in all 3 cases but, simply put, I'm a separated dad and was faced with the prospect of not having access to my kids and not being invited to family Christmas get togethers.

@Skyset_angel I think it's just the roll of the dice my friend. Some people randomly get sicker than others and it's not because they are old or fat, maybe just genetics or sheer luck. I did make changes to my lifestyle and I've been really strict about eating decent food and good sleep habits, which I was not great at before... that may have helped me get back to normal.

@jonradford3189 When I say nobody is saying it, it obviously mean nobody who isn't some rando on the internet.

Yeah that's how I'd describe it, although my symptoms weren't permanent. It was like being mildly hung over for a couple of months, just very draining and hard work to focus on anything for extended periods. Luckily I bounced back to full health. I hope you see some light at the end of the tunnel soon.

This was a "conspiracy" theory from the start of the vaccine. The desperation to get absolutely everyone jabbed means that you are left without a significant control group to compare data with.
