  2. I'll add that the majority of my competitive gaming has been driving/racing games. You're right, it's not violence that draws us... It's competition.

  4. Something's bothering me about his videogames/coffee date study. There's a lot more that discerns a person's preferred videogame than just the violence. It's as if this guy thinks there are two types of games, violent ones and non violent ones. There's a lot more depth here than that. Sure, the player who prefers playing CoD is a completely different animal to the player who prefers Flight Simulator, but I don't think violence is the main factor in that choice.
