  5.  @furtim1  I'm not sure the election was rigged enough to throw the result. But there was sufficient weird stuff going on to merit a full investigation. However the media basically telling 70 million people to shut up and banning anyone from talking about it - as the final straw of 4 years of smears, demonization and gaslighting of conservatives - was as much to blame for the anger resulting in Capitol Hill than anything Trump said.

  6. To be fair every nation has this feeling about themselves. I'm an Englishman and I always have the Rudyard Kipling poem to refer to in times like this. But in general, those of us who inhabit the western nations share a kindred spirit of liberty. Liberty whose enemies we have put down again and again through our history. And we will put down the enemies of liberty again, one way or another.

  7. I think that's understating things. If you're a conservative teacher in today's schools or universities then you are on the front line of defence, exactly where the most dangerous attack on our nation(s) is coming from.

Regardless of whether there was cheating, there was sufficient weird stuff to warrant a proper investigation - to allay the suspicions of tens of millions of people seemed the obvious course of action if anyone was remotely serious about "unity". Perhaps to quell the understandable anger of all these people and prevent something like the Capitol Hill invasion from happening.

  14. I had to keep checking to make sure this conversation wasn't recorded 3 or 4 years ago. This is more or less where the conversation was back then.

  15. Wow... A house built every 2 minutes just to keep up with legal migration to the UK, I heard that and thought come on Nigel that's an outlandish claim. But then I did the maths.... The number of minutes in a year divided by 2 is around 262k. SO at 2, houses per minute, this 262k houses built. Legal migration is somewhere around 800k. It's reasonable to assume that one home is needed per 3 or 4 people. So that seemingly ridiculous claim is TRUE.

  16. I'm sorry but I managed to get through about 1/3 of this, by which time I'd had to endure at least half a dozen adverts. I ended up downloading the video from a 3rd party site to make it tolerable to watch and it was of course excellent content.
