  41. A very prescient comment I read about the various communities of the right was that their main achilles heel is the egos of those most prominent within them. There is a great turning looming... we can all feel it... and the cultural luminaries of the right are vying to be top dog when it happens. But the mass of people who follow them and agree with their aims are not served well with their constant reactionary bickering.

  43. Yes this is similar to how I think of it. The government is a machine, it does not feel or fear. It strives for efficiency because it's main goal is presenting favourable data to it's masters. Unfortunately it made a mistake in not understanding the adverse effects on efficiency that would result from importing masses of man-meat from incompatible parts of the world.
